Who May Join?

MEA membership is open to teachers currently employed by academic institutions, retired teachers with at least 10 years experience, employed in an educational institution in a related field (such as librarian or assistant) and spouses/partners of members.

A limited number of memberships are available as a Non-Educator.

Membership Cost

Teachers/Educators/Librarians or anyone connected with the school system or education pay $180.00 per semester (Fall or Spring) or for more savings $325.00 for the full session (September - May). Most members join for the full year, and many have been members for 10, 15, 20 years or more.
Media professionals, people in the arts and spouses of members pay $195.00 per semester or $345.00 for the full session.

If you join us during the month of September, you may take $25.00 off the yearly membership fee or $10.00 off the Fall membership.

You can join at the theater on a Saturday morning, just bring a check or cash only, and join the smartest film group in town.
